This meets on Thursday afternoons from 2.00 to 3.30 p.m. throughout the year except December and January and enjoy friendship, fellowship and interesting talks on a variety of subjects, followed of course by a cup of tea.
Wayfarers
This a group led by the minister or stewards, that meets on the first Monday morning of the month unless it is a Bank Holiday, when it will be the second Monday. The group aim to discuss a passage in the Bible and its relevance to us in the modern world. This is usually held in the meeting room of the church and is accompanied by coffee and biscuits.
Examples of passages that have recently been discussed are:
Romans Chapter 14 v1-12 Do Not Judge Others and
Romans Chapter 12 v1-21 Life in God’s Service
House Group
This is a group who get together in each others houses two evenings a month to explore different aspects of the Bible and our faith. Currentlythe Gospel of John is being studied. The meetings are led by its members and allowed to follow whatever path the discussions take and is always followed by refreshments.
Thursday Lunches
We currently run a Thursday lunch club once a month for senior citizens who live alone in the local area and it is anticipated that this will be increased to twice a month with the new kitchen. We hope to provide senior citizens with an opportunity to meet other people and make new friends.

Holiday Club
This is organised by the minister to run during August so as to provide an opportunity for local senior citizens who are on their own to meet and enjoy a relaxing fun afternoon.
